Butt Jointed Cardboard Tubes
This is the most popular style of cardboard tube available today. A butt-jointed cardboard tube in packaging refers to a cylindrical tube made from layers of cardboard where the edges of the cardboard material are joined together without overlapping. This creates a smooth, flush joint, forming a seamless connection that gives the tube a sleek and uniform appearance.
These tubes can be further enhanced with features like custom printing, embossing, or foil accents, making them both functional and aesthetically appealing for high-end packaging.
Hand Sealed Cardboard Tubes
Hand-sealed cardboard tubes are packaging solutions designed with an emphasis on tamper-evident security and product protection. Similar to the "butt jointed" models, these tubes feature a peelable aluminum membrane that ensures the contents remain sealed and protected until opened by the consumer.
Once the product is packed into the tube, it is sealed manually using a pressure-sensitive seal. This hand-sealing process offers flexibility for smaller batches or custom orders while ensuring a secure closure. The pressure-sensitive seal adheres tightly to the tube, preventing accidental openings during handling and transportation.
Telescopic Cardboard Tubes
Telescopic cardboard tubes are a type of packaging that consists of two cylindrical parts: an inner tube and an outer tube that slides over it, creating a snug, secure fit. This telescopic design allows for easy opening and closing while providing an additional layer of protection for the contents inside. During the product development phase, Black Label Creations can provide samples of similar or equivalent materials and finishes upon request.
These samples assist in the decision-making process, offering a more accurate representation of your final product.
Where available through our packaging supply partners, Black Label Creations also offers fully printed and formed samples of your packaging design for a small fee. This allows you to visualise your product in its final form before proceeding to full production.
