Types of Labels & Stickers

Black Label Creations offer four types of sachets and films, these include Wrap-Around, Peel and Reveal, Tamper Evident and Booklet Labels. Please see below for a more detailed description of the four types of Labels and stickers we offer.

Wrap-Around Labels

Wrap-around labels encircle the entire product container, covering it completely or partially, and are commonly used on cylindrical packaging like bottles, jars, and cans.

Wrap-around labels offer extensive customization options to elevate both the appearance and functionality of packaging.

They can be crafted from materials like paper, polypropylene, polyethylene, or vinyl to suit different durability needs and environmental conditions. Finishing options, including gloss, matte, and soft-touch, add visual and tactile appeal, while UV coating increases resilience. Custom die-cut shapes, embossing, debossing, and foil stamping create unique and eye-catching designs. Transparent and opaque designs allow for product visibility or full coverage, and variable data printing enables personalization for promotional or regulatory purposes. Together, these options make wrap-around labels versatile for a wide range of products and branding goals.

Peel and Reveal Labels

Peel and Reveal labels, or multi-layer labels, are designed to offer additional information within a compact format, perfect for products that require extensive details without cluttering the main label. They typically feature multiple layers, allowing consumers to peel back the top layer to access further content, such as instructions, ingredients, or multilingual information.

Many of these labels are resealable, enabling repeated access without damaging the label, which is especially useful for regulated industries like pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food. These labels offer excellent customization options, from gloss or matte finishes to durable materials like polypropylene and paper, accommodating a range of product and branding needs. By using a Peel and Reveal design, brands can maximize label space, comply with regulatory requirements, and maintain a clean exterior focused on branding.

This versatile label format is ideal for products that demand both aesthetic appeal and functionality across various packaging formats.

Tamper-Evident Labels

Tamper-evident labels are designed to enhance product security by showing clear signs if a package has been opened or tampered with. These labels are often used on products in industries where safety and integrity are critical, such as food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. Tamper-evident labels often have a seal that breaks, tears, or leaves a visible mark when removed, instantly alerting consumers to potential interference with the product.

In addition to providing security, tamper-evident labels can be customized with branding elements, colors, or messaging that reinforce brand identity while reassuring customers of product safety. Some designs include hidden indicators or void patterns that appear when the label is lifted, adding an extra layer of protection. Tamper-evident labels are an essential feature for building trust and meeting regulatory requirements, helping brands protect both their products and their customers.

Fold-Out or Booklet Labels

Fold-out or booklet labels, also known as multi-page labels, are designed to provide extensive information within a compact label format, making them ideal for products requiring detailed instructions, regulatory information, or multilingual content. These labels fold out into multiple pages, allowing brands to include necessary information without expanding packaging space. Fold-out labels are popular in industries like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food, where compliance and customer guidance are essential.

These labels offer flexible design options, with customizable layouts, materials, and finishes that can enhance both functionality and brand presentation. Fold-out labels can include gloss, matte, or UV finishes and can be tailored in size to suit various product shapes and packaging constraints. With the ability to hold extra content while keeping the outer design clean, fold-out labels effectively balance branding and practicality, ensuring essential information is easily accessible to consumers.

Extras & Finishing options

Adhesive labels offer a range of finishing options to boost both visual appeal and functionality. Gloss finishes deliver a vibrant, attention-grabbing look that enhances product visibility on shelves, while premium soft-touch finishes provide a luxurious, tactile feel, elevating the packaging’s quality impression.

For eco-conscious brands, sustainable choices include recyclable or biodegradable materials that maintain durability and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, practical features like peel-and-reveal layers allow for extra content space, while matte finishes offer a sophisticated, understated look. These versatile enhancements and finishing options ensure that adhesive labels not only showcase and protect products but also convey brand values effectively, resonating with target audiences
